South-East African Empire of Dande, 1556
In a land crippled by drought, the Supreme Ruler of the Mwene Mutapa struggles to bring rain, relying on the sacred rain-making drum, “ngoma-lungundu.” When the drum is stolen and his fellow warriors slaughtered, Yasuka, a young knight apprentice, swears to recover it and avenge his brethren.Plot Yasuka, embittered and vengeful, embarks on a quest to retrieve the stolen drum, restore honor to his order, and prevent civil war. Along the way, he crosses paths with Dzugudini, a formidable female warrior and high priestess. Despite their differences, they form an uneasy alliance and journey across the empire’s savannahs and jungles. Conclusion:
